Okay...because I'm a dork I added two of my favorite things together. Batman and Herbert West, a crossover I've been considering ever since I was reading off Jeffrey Combs's filmography and kind of mixed his acting credit for herbert west with his voice acting credit for the batman animated series TNBAS where he Voiced Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow(woo! My favorite!). In addition to that, because apparently arkham asylum from batman is based off of h.p. lovecraft's writings. I've also seen some crossover fanfic, but my crossover is more badass because I've changed Herbert West's character ever so slightly to be a badass villain.
So, it may be less of a crossover and more of a madeup villain that's pretty much copied from another's work...come on...batman gets a lot of inspiration from other works.
well here's my plot idea: Herbert West in this story idea would be some sort of medical researcher for Wayne Enterprise(though...who knows what that company REALLY does...it seems to do everything) and he gets fired for some reason. I was thinking for dangerous experiments but that would mean he would get caught re-animating a subject and then it would seem some scientist may take an interest...too many other factors to worry about. Anyways, that doesn't matter right now. So in rage, Herbert West kills and re-animates all the people responsible for his dismissal from his job...and lobotomizing them to have control over them. Well...he probably does it to more people because he needs like a good amount of zombies to have his own army/henchmen thingies. From there, I'm thinking he needs money for his research so he begins using these zombies to help get money. That's where batman comes in. Danananana.
See, Herbert West isn't really exactly the same, he's morphed from mad scientist to evil mad scientist in my little idea.
The idea to me sounds pretty badass but a lot of my ideas sound cool in my head and then I realize later they are dumb. And by a lot, I mean pretty much all.
